Jessica Mallery passes away at 43, claims report

On April 8, Jackie Siegel shared an official statement regarding the death of her sister, Jessica Mallery, via the Instagram account for her nonprofit foundation, Victoria’s Voice. The model/actress noted, “As I mourn the profound loss of my beloved husband David Siegel, who passed away on April 5 at the age of 89, my world was shattered again yesterday by the unexpected loss of my beautiful sister, Jessica Mallery, 43, to a scourge we as a family sadly know too well – accidental drug overdose.”

She then shared more specifics about the circumstances surrounding Jessica Mallery’s death, stating, “Jessica died after using cocaine laced with fentanyl. Her death is another stark reminder of the drug epidemic and fentanyl crisis plaguing our country – and the urgent need to address substance abuse in order to save lives.”

Siegel reiterated the objective of her nonprofit organization and their determination to work to resolve the drug problem in the US. “Our work at Victoria’s Voice remains more critical than ever, and in her memory, we will continue to raise awareness and advocate every single day until this form of grief is a distant memory in this country.”

Similar to Jessica Mallery’s death, Siegel lost her daughter, Victoria, to a drug overdose at the tender age of 15 in 2015. After her husband’s recent passing, Siegel paid tribute to her late daughter on Instagram, stating that she found comfort in knowing that “Victoria was there to greet him” with “a big hug” in the afterlife.
